REHOBOTH BEACH

In the quiet town of Rehoboth Beach, away from the water, this new home sits in a friendly neighborhood of bungalows. The tight site required a design that fully occupied the buildable area while still not overwhelming the surrounding homes. The L-shaped design wraps around a plunge pool while providing an open plan of living spaces and a bedroom at the First Floor, a Master Suite with two other bedrooms on the Second Floor, and a Lower Level with Playroom and Bunk Room. Throughout the home, clean-lined details at windows and doors and the central stair set a tone of simplicity and modernism. On the exterior, stained white cedar shingles, painted trim and a carefully developed roofline give the building scale and presence.
